Find out how Jewels of Hope is enabling communities to grow and thrive.
Daniel lost his mother at age 6, and started school only attending every second day as he had to herd his father’s cattle too. After his father died
he was brought up by his loving aunt, Tseli. The small family still lives
in Maseru, Lesotho.
When Tseli heard about Jewels of Hope starting a group in Maseru
several years ago she signed Daniel up to join. He worked hard learning
the skill of jewellery-making benefiting from the support and learning
he received in the Connect Group.
Daniel is studying business management at the University of Lesotho
and on weekends he is the Project Administrator for Jewels of Hope Lesotho.
